

She began her medical journey at the National University of Singapore, graduating in 2011 with placement on the Dean’s List for multiple years for academic excellence. She subsequently completed her specialist training in Dermatology, and was awarded the Gold Medal for emerging as the Top Candidate in the national Dermatology Exit Examination in 2018.
In pursuit of continual learning, she earned a Diploma in Practical Dermatology in 2020 and then a Master of Science in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in 2021.
Before transitioning to private practice, Dr Kong was a Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre (NSC) and a Visiting Consultant at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. She was also actively involved in medical education, serving as a clinical tutor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS) and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (NTU).
Dr Kong held the role of Assistant Chief Registrar at NSC and was awarded the Ego–NSC Registrar Fellowship, which included an overseas attachment in Melbourne, Australia.
A passionate contributor to dermatology research, Dr Kong has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored chapters in dermatology textbooks, particularly in the area of paediatric dermatology.
She is a Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (Dermatology), and a member of the Dermatological Society of Singapore, the Asian Society of Pediatric Dermatology, and the International Society of Pediatric Dermatology.
